We are a team of skilled designers, architects, technologists and lean practitioners who are passionate that everybody should have access to architectural services and good design which has the power to enhance and improve lives. We see design as human-centered that begins with the people we are designing for and ends with new solutions that are tailor made to suit their needs. Learning and development is firmly embedded in our practice and every staff member is continually up-skilling in both a technical and interpersonal capacity so that we can offer a more-rounded service that makes the voice of the customer heard first and foremost.

Ronan

Ronan McGee

Director/Senior Architect

Ronan McGee

Ronan is responsible for the architectural merit of the practice from concept to design, build, certification and sign-off. He has worked as a Senior Architect on numerous projects in Ireland and abroad ranging from The Department of Education HQ, HSE hospitals and Primary Care Centres, large-scale residential, Urbanism, Commercial including Facebook HQ, IBM, Deutche Bank Offices, FBD offices, The McRoberts Art Centre in Stirling, Scotland and Windmill Lane Studios, Dublin. A graduate of WIT, University of Kent and Edinburgh College of Art (BA Architecture), Ronan continues his CPD as a Member of the Royal Institute of Architects in Ireland (RIAI). When he is not at his desk scrutinizing detailed planning applications or design briefs Ronan is an avid reader of Irish and contemporary fiction and poetry and paints in Oils.

Karen

Karen Douglas

Director

Karen Douglas

Karen oversees the day to day running of the practice and is the designated client and staff coach, helping clients decide on the most appropriate service for their budget and project size and working directly with the team to develop soft-skills training to complement their technical abilities. She also leads the introduction of Lean into the practice with the introduction of a Work Planning System and Protocol library. Karen is currently in the final year of a Master’s in Business specialising in Lean Excellence at WIT researching a thesis on neuro-architecture and empathy at the design stage. In her spare time Karen spends it with her three daughters, family and friends, reading American Fiction and fashion/ art biographies.

Pawel

Pawel Kulak

Part II Architect

Pawel Kulak

Pawel is an Architectural Assistant currently completing his Part III examinations to gain RIAI Architect status. He holds an MSc in Architecture with technical proficiency in new-to market materials and technologies, parametric design, steel & reinforced concrete structures, role of math & psychology in architecture, history of architecture and town planning. His pastimes include the gym, football, computer games, drawing, painting, computer graphic, travel and outdoor pursuits with his young family. Pawel also enjoys ink drawing, airbrush painting and concept cg art.

Craig

Craig Reynolds

Architectural Technician

Craig Reynolds

Craig graduated with a BSc in Architectural Technology from Waterford Institute of technology in 2018 and has worked as part of the BIM Collective group at WIT before joining the practice. He specializes in Building Information Modelling (BIM) using Revit with producing 3D models and visualization presentation with great attention to detailing, specification and construction. He is also an Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit. Craig has worked extensively in high-end retail during college also and is passionate about delivering the best customer service throughout the project life-cycle. When Craig is not 3d modelling he is a keen photographer with an interest in interior design and creating functional living spaces.
