Don’t Move Improve is a new service from our practice for anyone looking to improve by means of a house extension or refurbishments to their home. Through many months of research conducted and customer polls we know that for many customers they want to engage with an architect but for many the cost is either prohibitive to the size of their project or they literally don’t know where to start or how to access one.
For us as a small practice we understand the challenges faced by customers who may never have built before nor have much experience in renovating. We know that in the digital era most customers now come to us with a plethora of images and designs they like but still are not sure if it will work for their home. After many months of looking at ways to offer this particular customer type the service they want we have developed a home extensions brochure called Don’t Move Improve which is suitable for terrace, semi and detached homes. All come with a full 3D walk-through model and a builders set of plans for pricing. They can be bought directly as a set of plans or we provide a 2-hour home consultation with an architect to ‘fit’ your chosen Don’t Move Improve design to your home.
As a registered architectural practice we are also insured and indemnified to provide planning services, build management and certification also so everything can be done with one point of contact. All of our prices are one fixed price too so you only pay for what you need and want.
For many customers who go directly to the builder, in these changing times most reputable builders will not price without a detailed set of drawings so getting access to the good builder means doing it right the first time. We also know that savings of up to 20% or more can be achieved when the design is well thought out and detailed to the current building regulations.
